A memorial service for Dottie (Davidson) Moskwa, 81, of Durant, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Chapel in Durant. She died in Denison, Texas, on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.
She was born in Crawfordsville, Ind., on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1930. Dottie was married to Dana Davidson in 1949 at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1977. Dottie married Bill Moskwa in San Jose, Calif. on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 1983.
Dottie was a member of the Catholic faith. She loved being active and enjoyed many sports including golf, snow skiing, fishing and boating. She also enjoyed playing dominoes. She was a woman who considered herself blessed to be a wife, mother and grandmother. Dottie’s family was her greatest passion.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Moskwa; daughters, Diana Harris, of Indianapolis and Debbie Cooper, of Jeffersonville; sons, Duane Davidson and his wife Patti, of Durant, and David Davidson, of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Jenny Beeler and her husband Eric, of Indianapolis, Jason Heaney, of Janesville, Wisc., Dana Culpepper Cooper, of Clarksville, Paige Cooper, of Jeffersonville, and Conner Davidson, of Durant; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, Anora, T.J., Alex and two on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tillie and David Hays.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial can be made in Dottie’s name to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate.
