Maci Leighann Harris, 10, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with her Lord on Jan. 2, 2013.
She was a very outgoing and active young lady. She loved going to church at Oak Park Baptist Church, where she was very involved with the GMA girls ministry. She also enjoyed playing tennis and riding horses. She was a very loving sister, daughter, granddaughter and friend. She attended Otter Creek Elementary School and was a former student at Grant Line Elementary in New Albany.
Survivors include her loving parents, Paul and Shannan Harris; brother, Caleb Harris; three sisters, Kelsy, Mekenna and Kori Dement; grandmothers, Christine Harris and Barbara Chandler; grandfather, Richard Teeters; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Pastor David Harris.
A celebration of life for Maci and her grandfather, David, was held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.
