A funeral Mass for Jean A. Sohm O’Neil, 72, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville. She was born April 5, 1940, in Shively, Ky., to the late Stanley S. and Clara M. Schreck Sohm.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas O’Neil Jr. and his wife, Rose, Michael O’Neil, and Stanley O’Neil and his wife, Stephanie; brothers, Kenny and his wife, Carol, Bob, and Steve Sohm; sister, Joyce Thompson and her husband, Charles “Bud”; grandchildren, Tom III and his wife, Khara, Chelsey, Bobby, and Bradley O’Neil; and great-grandchildren, Landen, Alexa, Harley, and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. O’Neil Sr.; brother, Joseph L. Sohm; daughter-in-law, Sherry O’Neil; and great-granddaughter, Ava O’Neil.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany.
