Betty Jo Robinson Bishop, 76, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Mercy-Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
She was born Dec. 18, 1935, in Pikeville, Ky., to the late William Campbell and Ruth A. Patton Robinson.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammi Jerdonek and her husband, Ed, of Floyds Knobs, and Jennifer McAlpine and her husband, Rex, of Clarksville; grandchildren, Amy, Ryan, and Jill Gettelfinger and Lauren and Andrew Jerdonek; siblings, Fonnie Hissong , Robert Robinson and his wife, Shirley, Pat Robinson, Sandra Robinson, Sabrina Montourand and her husband, Bob and Vicki Keating; brother-in-law, Jon Bedrick; and her loving canine companion, Isabel. She was also preceded in death by her son, Trent Bishop; brothers, Bill and Mike Robinson; and sister, Debbie Bedrick.
There will be a private memorial service. Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, is in charge of the arrangements.
