Funeral services for Daniel Frank “Shotzie” Kost, 68, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Newcomer Funeral Home in New Albany, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Floyds Knobs. He died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.
He was born Jan. 30, 1944 in New Albany. He was a graduate of Georgetown High School and retired from Pillsbury after almost 50 years of service. Danny loved music, NASCAR, enjoyed cooking as well as going fishing. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 28 Bonnie Sloan.
Survivors include his siblings, Claudia Shrake Robertson and Thomas John Robertson; cousins and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Georgia (Bezy) Robertson.
