Funeral services for Bill Pfund Sr., 77, of Sellersburg, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
He was born in Louisville, Ky., and retired as vice president from Artex International. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Elks Club where he enjoyed playing golf with his friends, and was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joan Pfund; a son, Bill Pfund Jr., and his wife, Laura; a grandson, Trey Pfund; and his close friend, Bill Fryear.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
