Donald J. Munich, 82, of Charlestown, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
He was born June 30, 1927 in Clarksville, to Anton and Josephine Munich.
He graduated from St. Xavier High School, Indiana University and University of Louisville Dental School. He worked as a geologist and dentist. He worked many years to successfully preserve the Falls of the Ohio.
Survivors include his brother, Jerry and sister, Maxine, as well as three children, David, Kim and Tom; and his grandchildren, Lance and Clint Durbin and Sulisse and John-Paul Munich.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sulisse “Sue” and brother, Jim.
Visitation will be at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.
