Funeral services for Marchelle Denise Slaughter, 45, of Jeffersonville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Bloomfield, of Jeffersonville; her daughters, Amanda Wise, of Louisville, Sarah Slaughter, of Jeffersonville, and Danielle Peacock, of Pekin; sons, Chris Slaughter, of Jeffersonville, and James Blair, of Charlestown; stepson, Cody Bloomfield, of Borden; seven grandchildren; father, James Slaughter, of Jeffersonville; and sisters, Staff Sgt. Tina Kelly, of Fairbank, Alaska, and Amy Livers, of Charlestown.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Jean Bailey; and brother, James Slaughter Jr.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
