Funeral services for Henry Robertson, 82, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Legacy Funeral Center in Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
He retired from American Synthetic Rubber Corporation, was a member of S.O.A.R., and an avid bowler in all the local leagues. He was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed walking in his free time.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol Atchison and her husband, Rick; two grandchildren, Amy Jo VanCleave and Dustin VanCleave (Lauren Smith); four siblings, Doris Wilson, Link Robertson and his wife, Lorene, Travis Robertson and Jimmie Robertson and his wife, Betty; and sister-in-law, Lois James Fuchs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Robertson, parents, Theodore and Ella Robertson; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
