Funeral services for Lottie Howell, 84, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. She went to be with her Savior on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
She was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Mount Sterling, Ky. to the late Perry and Lida Baker. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville, and a longtime childcare provider.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Ariens and her husband, Steve; a son, Steve Howell and his wife, Karen; sisters, Betty Robins and her husband, Jim, and Carrie Lee West and her husband, Lynn; brother, Jesse Baker and his wife, Ann; grandchildren, Christa Sharkey, Steve Howell Jr. and his wife, Karen, Jason Howell and his wife, Mary, and Amy Harris and her husband, Chad; and
great-grandchildren, Chase Howell, Cameron Howell, Makenzie Harris, Caleigh Howell, and Aaron Sharkey.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Roy E. Howell.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
