Funeral services for Anna R. Swartz, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in New Chapel Cemetery. She died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She retired from Ary-Way (Target).
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Roby and Joyce Franklin, both of Jeffersonville; brothers, Donnie Fortner, of Mt. Washington, Ky. and Fred Fortner, of Jeffersontown, Ky.; three granddaughters; six grandsons; one step-grandchild; 19 great- grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. She had lived with Mike and Belinda Blythe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Swartz, parents Raymond and Betsy Fortner, sisters, Patricia Ells and Grace Brown, brothers, Reed, Flip, and Kenny Fortner, children, William Earl Davis and Nancy Newton, grandson, Billy Roby, and great-granddaughter, Jessica Roby.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
