A memorial service for Floyd L. Hall, 80, of Louisville, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Middletown United Methodist Church. He died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Baptist East Hospital, N.Y.
He was a retired Correctional Officer for the State of New York. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel S. Schmidt Hall; a son, David L. Hall and his wife, Janice, of Louisville; and two brothers, Alton Hall, of Gramville, N.Y., and Harold Hall, of Sharon Springs, N.Y.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Middletown United Methodist Church or the New Albany/Floyd County Animal Shelter
