Funeral services for Edith M. Shepherd, 86, of Clarksville, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.
She was the former Edith Whittle, a native of Russell County, Ky., and retired from the Sunoco Company after 45 years of service. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Royal Neighbors of America, the V.F.W. and American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara L. Davis; two stepsons, O.A. Jones, and Willard Jones; a grandchild, James Davis; eight step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Davis, Lauren Deaux and her husband, Branden, and Matthew Payne; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
