Morris G. Robison

92; of New Albany

Morris G. Robison, 92, of New Albany, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany. Private funeral and burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery in Washington County.

He was the son of Jesse and Lula Robison. He was born in Salem, Ind., attended Purdue University where he earned a degree in chemical engineering and served in the Army Air Corps in England during WWII. He worked at Sinclair Oil Company, Atlantic Richfield and British Petroleum for more than 37 years as a supervisory research chemical engineer in Chicago, Ill., before retiring o Hendersonville, N.C. and Franklin, Ind.

Survivors include his son Don (Ann); sisters-in-law Mary Elizabeth and Loretta; nieces Ellen, Janet and Kay; and nephew Mark.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Francis and Frederick; and his wife of 59 years the former Marion Hespe.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home’s Oak Street Chapel, New Albany.
