Funeral services for Mary Louise Weber Campbell, 91, of Clarksville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Kraft Funeral Home, Charlestown Road Chapel, with private interment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Tuesday, Sept. 19. 2006, at her home.
She was a native of New Albany, the widow of Leroy W. Campbell and was preceded in death by a son, Jack Campbell.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Siltz, Edwardsville; two granddaughters, Julie Schaaf and husband, Eddie and Kathleen Thornberry and
husband, Mark; five great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren.

Maurice Clark , 103; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Maurice Clark, 103, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Gilt Edge Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Johnson, Madisonville, Ky.; stepchildren, Betty Denkins, Jewel McBride and Howard McBride, all of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several cousins. He is also survived by his caregivers, Dorothy Brown, a cousin, Jeffersonville and her daughter, Belinda Brown

Funeral services for Peyton Douglas Gorbandt, 18-month-old son of James Gorbandt and Bobbie Jo Mosley, of Charlestown, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. He died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Kosair Children’s Hospital.

Linda Sue Tarrance Harper, 54; Indiana State Highways former inspector
Funeral services for Linda Sue Tarrance Harper, 54, of Jeffersonville, will be held at Noon Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Scott Funeral Home’s Main Street Chapel, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at her home.
She was a native of Jeffersonville, a homemaker and a former inspector for the Indiana State Highways, and a former caregiver for Quality Community. She was also a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Harper; four children, a daughter, Michelle Harvey Burgin and her husband, Andy, Jeffersonville, son, Jason Harvey and his wife, Chris, Jeffersonville, daughters, Teressa Harper Steinbergen, Clarksville, and Heather Harper, Jeffersonville; a brother, B.J. Tarrance, Henryville; three granddaughters, Candice Hatton and Kaitlin Harvey, both of Jeffersonville, and Kiera Steinbergen, Clarksville; and two grandsons, Travis Harvey and Justin Hatton, both of Jeffersonville; a friend, Jaylene Tower, and a caregiver, Jaylene Tower.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Zelma Tarrance; and a sister, Betty Darugar.

He was a native of Louisville, a devoted family man, a retired electroplater for the Naval Ordnance Station Louisville, an Army veteran, a member of the Clark County AMVETS Post 4 where he served as a Past Commander and as a Past Commander of the 4th District of the Department of Indiana AMVETS.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa "Terry" D. Proctor, New Albany; two daughters, Melissa D. Coyle, New Albany and Mimi D. Alexander and her husband, Allen Standafer, Jeffersonville; a son, Phillip J. Proctor and his wife, Kirstie, Jeffersonville; a sister, Mildred Spalding, Clarksville; a brother, Bill Proctor, Dallas, Texas; and nine grandchildren, Amelia Buskirk, Katie and E.J. Funeral services for Faith Michelle Coats Romig, 37, of Otisco, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at R.D. Pyke Funeral Service, Henryville, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Henryville. She died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006 at her home.
She was a member of Safe Harbour Christian Church Henryville and she was a 1987 graduate of Henryville High School. She was born in Louisville, Ky. on Jan. 16, 1969.
Survivors include two sons, Bryce Alexander Romig and Brandon Michael Romig, both of Otisco; her father, Clarence Charles Coats Jr. and stepmother, Denise of Jeffersonville; her mother, Ethel Irene Vanderpool and

Norman Collie Smith Jr., 88; World War II veteran
Funeral services for Norman Collie Smith Jr., 88, of Sellersburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at Ingram Funeral Home, West Salem, Ill., with burial in Moravion Cemetery. He died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Vistacare Hospice of Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Silver Pointe, Tenn., the son of Norm Sr. and Vora Whitfield Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Warren G. Smith and a sister, Lucille Wiley.
He owned an independent insurance agency in Madison Heights, Mich., prior to retiring to West Salem Ill. in 1980. He and his loving wife moved to Clarksville in 2005 to be closer to their daughter. He was a World War ll veteran serving in the Army Medical Corps as a First Lieutenant adjutant at field hospitals in the Pacific theater. He received numerous citations and medals including the Asian/Pacific Theater Ribbon with three bronze battle stars. He was active in the Madison Heights Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. During his retirement years he served as the West Salem Village clerk and treasurer.
He will be missed by family, many friends and members of Hamburg Church of Christ and the Albion Church of Christ in Albion, Ill. who knew his dedication to God.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, the former Frances Renee Doty; two daughters, Tana Rakich, Sellersburg and Norlene Chadwick, Great Falls, Va.; two sisters, Lois Anderson, Cookville, Tenn. and Wanda Briggs, Baxter, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Cary and Loren Rakich and Ashley, Megan and Ryan Chadwick; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Mead County, Ky., a metal machinist for Metal Sales Manufacturing in Sellersburg.

Funeral services for Warren F. Beeler, 84, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a native of Chrisney, Ind. and a retired car salesman. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Maude (Johnson) Beeler; a daughter, Phyllis McKim, Bardstown, Ky.: a sister, Marian Cowan, Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Perry Banet and Brent McKim, both of Bardstown, Ky.; two great-grandchildren, Abby McKim and Paxton McKim.

Survivors include her daughter, Myrna A. Shaffer, New Albany; two brothers, Wiley Buck Hansford, Clarksville and Bob Hansford, New Albany; a sister, Bernice Tweedy, Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Piper Evans; and two great-grandchildren, Clay and Sadie Evans.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James “Don” Moore; and a son, John “Bill” Moore.
