Funeral services for Ralph Dean, 76, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Barnes Cemetery. He died Tuesday Oct. 27, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 29, 1933, in Clark County, the son of Ernest and Nellie Early Dean. He was a retail salesman and attended Kingdom Hall the Charlestown Chapter of the Jehovah Witness.
Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda Boldery, of Charlestown; son, Gary Dean, of Charlestown; brothers, Denny Dean, of Kokomo and Steve Dean, of Charlestown; sisters, Judy Dean, of New Washington and Loretta Smith and Geri Heal, both of Charlestown, Wanda Arbuckle, of Lexington, Carol Graves, of Nabb and Norma Cole, of Otisco; grandchildren, Jeremy Boldery, Cody Dean and Chad Dean; and great-great-grandchild, Mackenzie Boldery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest Dean Jr. and Jimmy Dean; and sister, Madge Yates.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
