Funeral services for Steve “Hoss” Comingore, 61, of Clarksville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born in Louisville and was a retired welder for I.C.I Americas and Crowne Industrial. He was a member of the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28 of New Albany, and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Clarksville.
Survivors include his wife, Aleeta Hobson Comingore; sons, Derek Comingore and his wife, Janelle, of Clarksville and Doug Comingore and his wife, Carrie, of Georgetown; his mother, Emily Jean Harvey Comingore, of Hardinsburg; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Comingore.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to WHAS Crusade for Children.
