Mary Jane Utz

80; of New Albany

Funeral services for Mary Jane Utz, 80, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with interment in Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville. She died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.

She was a native of New Albany, and was a retired office manager for Prudential Insurance Company for many years, and retired from New York Life Insurance Company. She was a member of the Louisville Rose Society, Executive Women International, and the New Albany Business and Professional Women. She was a member of Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Peggy L. Utz, of New Albany; brother, C. William Utz and wife, Rita, of New Albany; niece, Cheryl Bott and husband, Greg, of New Albany; and nephews, Curt Utz and his wife, Susan, of New Albany and Chris Utz and wife, Beth, of New Albany.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church, New Albany.
