Dawn Joy Edwards

59; of Clarksville

Memorial services for Dawn Joy Edwards, 59, of Clarksville, will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at New Chapel United Methodist Church, 5616 New Chapel Road, Jeffersonville. She died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at the VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso.

She was born March 20, 1950, in Glasgow, Ky., to the late Kenneth and Maxine Butler Edwards. She was a member of the New Chapel United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville. To her children, she was “Mom”, to her grandchildren, she was “Namaw”, to her many friends and family, she was a loving, compassionate, kindhearted woman with a true heart of gold. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” — Revelation 21:4

Survivors include her children, Amber Kreutzer (Amanda Evans) of Chicago, and Randall Kreutzer and his wife, Jenifer, of Kouts; granddaughters, Abrie, Ava, and Ella Kreutzer; brother, David Edwards and his wife, Lydia, of New Albany; and companion, Tony Franklin of Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant daughter, Kelly Lynn Kreutzer.

Cremation was chosen at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to New Chapel United Methodist Church.
