Sharen “Williams” Fraze, 62, of New Albany, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at her home.
No services will be held. Cremation was chosen and Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, is handling the arrangements.
She was born Nov. 4, 1946, in New Albany. She was a retired clerk at Kmart, and a beloved mother.
Survivors include her sons, James V. Williams and Christopher L. Williams, both of New Albany, and Jim Hatfield, of Louisville; granddaughters, Cristin and Erika Williams, of New Albany; daughter-in-law, Margo Sprigler Williams, of New Albany; sisters, Alma King and her husband Don, of Corydon, and Jane Shaffer and her husband Ronnie, of Charlestown; brothers, Ernie Williams and his wife Diane, and Charles Williams and his wife Mary, both of New Albany; and brother-in-law, Donald Shouse, of New Albany.
The family would like to give special thanks to Ronnie Shaffer, Becky Martin, Cristin Williams, Pearl and Carol Pearson, Christine Colock and Ray Smith. And to the special children in her life, grandchildren Cristin and Erika, and Andrea “Little Bit.”
