Funeral services for David Lee Tobin, 60, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in
Sellersburg Cemetery. He died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his home.
He was formerly employed at CIBA Vision Care in the I.T. Department and was currently working at the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his mother, Mid Tobin of Sellersburg; a sister, Emma Lou Smith and husband, Steve, of Columbus; cousins, Richard Myers and his wife, Shirley, of Louisville and Eric Tobin; nieces, Jennifer Scholtz and her husband, Bob, of Richmond, Va.; a nephew, Jeffrey Smith and his wife, Angie, of Morrisville, N.C.; and five great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, U. Lee Tobin.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to Maple Manor Christian Home, Sellersburg.
