Funeral services for Nova Jean Wolfe Chesnut, 79, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville. She died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital, New Albany.
She was a native of Crandall and was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Edwardsville United Methodist Church in Edwardsville.
Survivors include her daughter, Leesa Lee and her husband, Ron, of New Albany; son, Frank Doyle and his wife, Patty, of New Albany; sister, Velma Morlan, of Floyds Knobs; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen L. Chesnut, and brothers, Glenn Duffin Wolfe and Bobby Mack Wolfe.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Charities, P.O. Box 37370, Louisville, 40233.
