Funeral services for Jo Ann Ransom, 78, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a bookkeeper for Taylor Trunk and was a member of Calvary Christian Church. She was also a member of Riverboat Sam’s Camping Club, Floyd County Homemakers and the Silvertoners.
Survivors include her husband, William Ransom; a daughter, Glinda Farley and her husband, John, of Martinsburg; a granddaughter, Shawnda Richardson and her husband, Brent, of Pekin; a grandson, Adam Farley and his wife, Nikki, of Pekin; and a great-grandson, John Parker
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Snook.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to the Crusade for Children.
