Funeral services for Gabriel L. Fischer, 75, of Elizabeth, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park, Louisville. She died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
He was a native of Louisville, and was a Marine Corps veteran, having served in the Korean War. He attended Wellman Wesleyan Church in Louisville.
Survivors include his brothers, Paul Fischer, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and John W. Fischer and his wife, Elizabeth, of Elizabeth; and his sister, Bonnie Fischer, of Elizabeth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Fischer Sr. and Gladys E. Brown Fischer; brother, Tommy Fischer; and sister, Jessie Mimms.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
