Funeral services for Eileen F. Alexander, 88, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. She passed Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 13, 1921, in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Frank V. and Helen Margaret Cassidy Farrow. Her love of reading throughout her life gave her a fulfilling career in which she retired from Baker and Taylor Book Wholesale as a book researcher. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include three daughters, Judith Miller, of Jeffersonville, Mary Lou Parks and her late husband, John Parks and Beth Larson and her husband, Dean, both of Lowell; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert William Alexander in 1987.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 9 a.m. Saturday.
