Funeral services for Shirley A. Hurst Hortenberry, 74, of Borden, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at Borden Church of Christ, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Borden. She died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of Ernest Richard Hurst and Lillian May McKinley Hurst. She was a member of Borden Church of Christ and was a retired employee of General Electric with 23 years service.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Ann Hortenberry, of Borden; brothers, Jerry and Jack Hurst, of Borden and John Hurst, of Pekin; and sister, Margie Dixon, of Sellersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Visitation at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home, Borden, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
