Funeral services for Patricia Ann “Sis” Thompson Sexton, 44, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the Paul F. Kraft Sr. Memorial Chapel of Generations Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. She died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
She was born on March 25, 1965, to the late Leslie and Estelle M. Hobach Thompson in Elizabeth, Ky.
Survivors include her daughters, Sondra Priddy and her husband, Josh, of Sellersburg and Alicia and Candice Sexton, both of New Albany; her former husband, Edward Sexton; siblings, Nancy Gresham and her husband, Darrell, of Lanesville, Mary Lou Underwood, of Mt. Sherman, Ky., Benny Thompson, of New Albany, Joe Thompson, of Lanesville, Louise Thompson, of New Albany, Leonard Thompson, of New Albany and David Thompson, of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Tyler and Abbey Priddy, Kaitlyn and Kelcie Caffee, and Layla Kennett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bessie Hunt, Lester Thompson, and Juanita Thompson.
Visitation at the funeral home will be form 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family in care of Generations Funeral Home.
