Funeral services for Christine Alexander, 79, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Westhaven Cemetery. She died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
Survivors include her children, Ledora Benedict, Joy Fetz, Lois Diggs and Vincent Alexander; siblings, Hezekiah Scott, Anna Cook and Helen Gohagon; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her children, Joann Toomer, Edward L. Alexander III, and Robert E. Alexander.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
