Funeral services for Peggy A. Routh Edelen, 58, of New Albany, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany. The daughter of Mary Lou Cooley Routh and the late Harrell G. Routh, she was born July 7, 1951, in Depauw. She was a retired respiratory therapist at Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
Survivors include her children, Christopher W. Luallen and his wife, Keri, of Louisville, L’Oreal A. Edelen and her husband, Robin, New Albany, and Darrell Harvey and his wife, Geni, New Albany; sister, Sharon Brown and her husband, Tracy, New Albany; brother, Frank Routh and his wife, Sherry, of Nabb, and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, and after noon Monday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association in her memory.
