Funeral service for Daniel Wayne Akers, 57, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at E.M. Coots Funeral Home, in Jeffersonville. He died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at his home.
He is survived by brothers Gilbert E. Akers and Timothy A. Akers; and sisters Angela K. Carter and Carolyn S. Hall, all of Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry G. and Audrey Akers.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
