Funeral services for Mary Jane Zahnd, 92, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Monday, Nov. 23, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was the former Mary Jane Scott, born Nov. 13, 1917, in New Albany.
Survivors include her son, Russell Zahnd and his wife, Maria, of Guston, Ky.; granddaughters, Doris Jane Johnson, of Brandenburg, Ky. and Pamela Ella Tetrick and Monique Marie Ready, of New Albany; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Christy Franklin Zahnd; her parents, Carl E. and Mettie Scott; brothers, Bruce, Gene and Richard Scott; and sisters, Ester Hartman, Loatus Thompson and Betty Houghton.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
