A private graveside service for James Rogers Davis, 68, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., was held at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. There will be a memorial service held 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
He died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, in West Palm Beach, Florida. James was a former resident of New Albany and was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Erik Cahoe, Floyds Knobs; son and daughter-in-law Troy and Leslie Davis, Louisville; son Jimmy Ray Davis; grandchildren Levi Morgan Cahoe, Troy Sheldon Davis II, Chloe Tyler Cahoe, Leela Joyce Davis and Santana Dakota Davis.
