Funeral services for George Nathanial Lowe, 64, of Jeffersonville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow. He died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Pineville, Ky., a graduate of Jeffersonville High School class of 1966, retired as a photoengraver from Southern Graphics and a member of Graceland Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing and volunteering his time doing ministry work.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Lowe; two sons, Scott Lowe, and Matthew Lowe and his wife, Ashly, all of Jeffersonville; five siblings, Ed Lowe and his wife, Lucy, Marilyn Lang and her husband, Dale, Jimmy Lowe, Shirley Shell and her husband, Ken, and Patsy Gregory and her husband, Bob; and six grandchildren, Andrew Lowe, Grace Lowe, Faith Lowe, Anna Lowe, Rachel Lowe and Matthew George Lowe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Thelma Lowe; and a brother, William Lowe.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Graceland Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
