Funeral services for Lloyd Allen Evans, 70, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Mt. Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Charlestown, with burial in Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery. He died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at VAMC in Louisville.
He was born Sept. 13, 1942 in Clark County, to Worth and Mary O’Brien Evans. He was Navy veteran, a retired employee of Pepsico where he worked for more than 32 years, and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Brock Evans; son, Chris Evans, of Charlestown; daughter, Jennifer Fox, of Austin; brother, Randall Evans, of Charlestown; sisters, Patsy Alldaffer, of Charlestown, Joyce Yochelson, of Shadyside, Md., and Donna Hamilton, of Gaither, Miss.; and grandchildren, Nathan and Nolan Evans.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, and after 9 a.m. Monday, at the church.
