Funeral services for James E. Lindsey, 54, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center.
He worked at Bill & Lou’s Liquor Store, was an avid NASCAR fan and he loved his BBQ.
He is survived by his son, James R. Sattler, of Floyds Knobs; a daughter, Morgan E. Lindsey, of Henryville; mother, Linnie A. Lindsey, of New Albany; brother, Jason A. Lindsey, of Charlestown; sisters, Teresa K. Krieger, of Clarksville, and Jennifer A. Hammond, of Sellersburg; and grandchildren, Taylor Sattler and Shelby Fackler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Lindsey.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and after 9 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
