A memorial service for Phillip Lee Jones, 66, of Jeffersonville, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany. He died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He was a native of Jeffersonville and a retired truck driver. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Tatum Jones; sons, Robert Jones and his wife, Savannah, and Bryan Jones; a daughter, Angela Chandler and her husband, Randy; brothers, Michael B. Jones, Mark S. Jones and Kevin Jones; sisters, Bonita Martin, Anita Jones and Maribeth Blessett; grandchildren, David, Hunter, Riley, Brianna and Danni-Rae; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde W. and Marjorie Bartle Jones.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made to the family care of the funeral home.
