Memorial visitation for Michael L. ‘Mickie’ Eurton Sr., 64, of New Albany, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany. He died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
He was a native of New Albany, and was a retired employee of the C.S. Eurton Concrete Company. He was very fond of fishing, hunting, and the outdoors in general.
He is survived by his son, Michael L. Eurton Jr., of New Albany; a brother, Tony L. Eurton, of New Albany; three sisters, Vicki Campbell, of Marysville, Jannette McCormick, of New Albany, and Lisa Blain, of New Albany; and two grandchildren, Dillon and Desire Eurton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Eurton; two brothers, C.S. “Moose” and Rickie Eurton; a sister, Jannetta Eurton; nephew, Darrell R. Cook Jr.; and a longtime family friend, Becky Cooley.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
There will be no service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
