Funeral services for Freda M. Rodewig Campbell, 83, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Charlestown Road Chapel of Kraft Funeral Service, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park Garden of Angels. She died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
She was born May 4, 1929, in New Albany, to the late Joseph and Martha Turner Rodewig. She retired from the old M. Fine and Son company and then worked at the Hoosier Bowling Lanes for some 12 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Sinclair and her husband, Donnie, of Palmyra; and Elizabeth “Snookie” Hofelich and her husband, Tony, of Georgetown; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Kemp; and brothers Robert Rodewig and his wife, Della, and Richard Rodewig.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Agnes, Frances, Martha, Bud, Bill, Raymond and Kenny Rodewig.
She will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
