Funeral services for Charles William Grigsby, 66, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Jeffersonville. He died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.
Charlie was born in Shelbyville, Ky., and served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Lincoln Income before retiring from the Louisville Water Company. In his free time he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed playing golf, especially at Wooded View.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Grigsby; daughter, Karen Grigsby; sister-in-law, Pat and Bob McElyea; brother-in-law, Ken and Ethel Elliott; numerous nieces and nephews; and half-sister, Stacy Grigsby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estill “Dutch” Grigsby and Addie Wingfield; and brother, Preston Grigsby.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville.
