Funeral services for Richard E. “Speedy” Morris, 88, of Clarksville, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville. He died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at his home.
He retired from Penn Station Railroad. He loved horse racing. He was a native of Jasonville.
He is survived by his nieces, Sharon E. Jones, of Charlestown, and Sandee J. Nielander, of Sellersburg; nephews, Jerald W. Druin, of Jeffersonville, Michael A. Druin, of Jeffersonville, Gene Druin, of Louisville, and W. Ted Druin, of Memphis; and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Morris; mother, Elizabeth Morris; brothers, John W. Morris, and Robert Morris; sister, Hannah D. Druin; and nephew, Richard Druin.
Visitation will being at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
