Funeral services for Anthony Whitney Jones Jr., 24, of New Albany, will be at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 22, at New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3248 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, with interment in West Haven Cemetery, New Albany. He died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at his home.
He was a native of Huntsville, Ala. He was a member of the New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church in Louisville. He was a CNA and an HHA in Kentucky and Indiana.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel M. Jones; his son, Anthony Cayden Jones; his mother, Donna Clay-Darden; sisters, Brannon-Delora and Channing Clay-Darden; grandparents, Vivan and Larry Baity, of Louisville, Bettye and Norris Clay, of Florida, and Juanita and James Jones, of Florida; father-in-law, William E. Jenkins; mother-in-law, Sharon L. Luna; sister-in-law, Sheyenne Jenkins; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Whitney Marie Jones and Aryn Michelle Jones.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday. Please send floral arrangements to the church. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel in Evansville is in charge of arrangements.
