Funeral services for Charles William Worley, 60, of Jeffersonville, will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow. He died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 9, 1950 in Bristol, Va. He was an operating engineer for International Operations Engineer Union and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughters, Sonya Worley and Tonya Hedge, both of Louisville; sons, Charles M. Worley, of Escondido, Calif., and William Worley, of Louisville; his wife, Teresa Hedge, of Jeffersonville; grandson, Jeremiah Hedge; brothers, David and Art Worley, both of Jeffersonville; and sister, Brenda Osbourne, of Russellville, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lee Worley and Jeannette Worley.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bob Hedge Christmas Basket Foundation, 1448 Gateway Plaza, Jeffersonville, 47130, or to the family in care of the funeral home.
