Funeral services for Carl R. Anderson, 78, of Floyds Knobs, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany. He died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.
He was a 1950 graduate of New Albany High School and a member of DePauw United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his brother Ivan Anderson; sister Barbara James and her husband Tommy; children Becky Schecodnic and her husband Gary, Tim Anderson and his wife Dianna, Stacey Freibert and her husband Jeff; nine grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Cara Lynn Rhoads Anderson and his parents Hazel and Frank Anderson.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
