Funeral services for Charlene Cassady, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday,at Scott Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Munfordville, Ky., a homemaker and a member of Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville.
She is survived by her nephew, Jody Johnson and his wife Maudie, of Greenville; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Cassady Jr; her parents, George and Lura Rucker; two nephews, Jack Preston Johnson and Shelby Johnson; two sisters, Nance Johnson and Georgina Johnson; and a brother, Noah Rucker.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
