Funeral services for Sarah Elizabeth Clere, 97 of Elizabethtown, Ky., will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, New Albany. She died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown.
She attended First Baptist Church in New Albany, and St. Paul Episcopal Church in New Albany. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas A. Clere and his wife, Sarah V., of Faison, N.C., Robert S. Clere, of New York City, and David R. Clere and his wife, Marilyn F., of Radcliff, Ky.; six grandsons, Edward, Raymond, Daniel, Joseph, Jacob, and Bert; a granddaughter, Sarah; two great-grandsons, John, and Adam; and three great-granddaughters, Hannah, Solaris and Perrin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond David Clere.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
