Marsha Ann Brown Jacobs, 64, of Jeffersonville, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1947, in New Albany, to the late Harry and Dorothy Lee Brown. She retired from the old Bacon’s Department Store.
She is survived by her husband, George “Buz” Jacobs; two sons, Matthew and his wife, Melissa, and Bradley and his wife, April; six grandchildren, Alex, Brendan, Delaney, Declan, Lauren, and Kristen; sister, Pam Halter and her husband, Bill; two nephews; a grandniece; an aunt; and several cousins.
Per her wishes, her body was donated to the IU School of Medicine. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
Coots Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
