Kermit A. Hampton, 83, formerly of New Albany, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in Bradenton, Fla. He was a World War II Navy veteran and will be buried in the New Albany National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, with Generations Funeral Home, New Albany, in charge of the arrangements.
