Funeral services for Dorothy L. Jennings, 83, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany, with internment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died at her home on Tuesday Feb. 2, 2010, in New Albany.
She was born May 18, 1926, in Tell City, to the late Scotti G. and Nellie Boling. She was the widow of the late Merle R. Jennings and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Merle W. Jennings and his wife, Marjorie, of New Albany; brother, Richard E. Boling and his wife, Beverly, of New Albany; sisters, Marilyn Kenny of Shepardsville, Ky., and Nelda Day of Tell City; granddaughters, Malinda K. Henson and her husband, Kenny, and Erika D. Jennings; and great-grandchildren, Scotty, Pudgie, Justin, Britney, and Kenny.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Diane Jennings, brother, Fred Powell, and her husband and parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday Feb. 8, 2010.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
