Funeral services for Irene Hutchins, 80, of Henryville will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at R.D. Pyke Funeral Service, Henryville, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. She died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Sellersburg Health & Rehab Centre, Sellersburg.
She was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Jeremiah, Ky., to the late David Caudill and Rebecca Adams Caudill. She was a member of Lexington Christian Church. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society and served Seniors Meals on Wheels
Survivors include her daughter, Judy, wife of Ray Wheeler, of Memphis, Ind.; her sons David, husband of Martha Hutchins, of Underwood, Holt III, husband, of Debbie Hutchins, of Lexington, Jeff, husband of Kathy Hutchins, of Underwood, Mitchell Hutchins, of Henryville; her sister, Judy Lewis, of Louisville; her grandchildren John Wheeler, Michael, Brad, Darron, Evan Mitchell, Luke and Matthew Hutchins, Carol Ward, James Butler, Carrie Enie, Eddie Hutchins and Holt Hutchins IV; her great-grandchildren Kristina and Noah Hutchins, Avery Hutchins, Dameon and Crystal Hutchins, Dawson Ward, Emily and Jaden Butler, Christopher, Cassidy, Holt and Issac Hutchins.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
