Funeral services for Billy Ray Dickey, 53, of Nabb, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. He died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.
He was born April 29, 1959, in Louisville, Ky., to Floyd and Marie Dickey. He was an employee for IDX in Jeffersonville, where he worked in distribution.
Survivors include his sons, Chris Dickey and his wife, Jessica, of Nabb, and Doug Dickey and his wife, Winda, of Queens, N.Y.; a daughter, Amy Kligman andher husband, Misha, of Kansas City, Mo.; his father, Floyd Dickey, of San Antonio, Tex.; brothers, Jerry Dickey and his wife, Brenda, of New Washington, and Mike Dickey and his wife, Lisa, of Charlestown; sisters, Joyce Bower and her husband, Chuck, and JoAnn Smith and her husband, Marvin, all of Nabb, and Janice Embry and her husband, James, of Charlestown; grandchildren, Rayleigh, Cy and Allen Dickey; nieces and nephews, Adam Dickey, Michael Dickey, Hallie Ennis, Carol Bower, Larry Bower, Michelle Morris, Floyd Smith, Angela Crace, Victoria, Tanner and Katie Embry and many great nieces and nephews and family and friends that he cared for.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
